Today is Throwback Thursday! Here you will find my favorite songs from way back when.

This is possibly one of my favorite songs, EVER! Not sure when it was actually released but I remember watching the video on “The N” (now Teen Nick) in between episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation on late nights.

“I guess there’s just a part of me that likes to bring you down just to keep you around. Because the day you realize how amazing you are, you’re going to leave me.”

I now have the song on repeat because it’s been forever since I’ve heard it. Not even sure how it popped into my head today. However, this song speaks to me on so many different levels and I’m sure it will speak to many of you as well.

She’s talking about a guy who she is madly in love with because he’s the only one who really “gets” her. Like really understands her. Sure she is often mean to him – really mean – and says a lot of things she doesn’t mean. But it’s only because she’s afraid of how in love with him she really is.
