You read that correctly. DJ Khaled decided to go to MTV and propose to hip hop artist Nicki Minaj in front of the whole world. At this point I do not know if this is a stunt or the real deal – BUT – that ring was the real deal for sure.

Not only is this odd in itself, it is also odd that he would propose to her calling her by her stage name “Nicki Minaj” and not her real name “Onika Miraj”. If you are madly in love with someone and have a special connection, wouldn’t you always refer to them by their given name? Just me?
