Keep Grinding.
We have all heard this term before. It is a figure of speech that means: keep pressing on, keep moving, keep putting in work. This is more than a figure of speech for artist KG, this IS the motto.
KG is an artist born Trey Hammons-Scott out of Dayton, Ohio who is talented in many areas but has admitted that music is his first love. I first heard some of KG’s great artistry during a talent show where he did a couple of his poems. At the time I had no idea he was a poet, let alone a rapper.
The grind to KG is more than just working hard, it is truly a lifestyle. He not only is determined to keep grinding, he believes in grinding productively and perfectly. When asked when he plans on dropping a mixtape he said, “soon”. He told me he wants to make sure everything is perfect. The perfect sound, perfect beats, and the perfect mindset to produce great music; he refuses to rush the project.
How can you not respect a guy like that?
In the meantime, he released a new track on his Sound Cloud titled “Shit Faced” not to long ago that I want you all to check out. This is a fun song that also shows off KG’s flow. Check this out and his past videos on YouTube as we wait for his next project!
