If you don’t know about my obsession with Nicki Minaj then clearly you’ve been living under a rock.
The hip hop superstar has just released the track list for her upcoming album “The Pinkprint” set to drop on December 15. The album is now available for pre-order on Amazon, Target, Walmart and Best Buy websites.
The track list includes favorites such as “Only”, “Pills and Potions” and “Anaconda”. The album will also include recently released track “Bed of Lies” featuring Skylar Grey.
With a title like “The Pinkprint”, one can’t help but think this title with run as a series like Jay-Z did his Blueprint albums. One also can’t help but wonder if this album will give Nicki the boost she needs to be considered as a female rap legend.
Let’s be frank, if you’re not a die hard Nicki fan you probably don’t take her very seriously as an artist due to her costumes and animated personality. As an original barb, I think this album will give Nicki the ammunition she needs to continue to monopolize the female rap game and finally get the respect she deserves as an artist.

Lyrically, it has been awhile since I have been impressed by Nicki Minaj. Nonetheless, I still love her music and usually get hooked on whatever song she releases. She is such a great entertainer and I love the variety of personalities she contains. I am excited to hear this album and hopefully she gains the respect as a rap artist, just as the rest, but lyrically, she’s has to bring the flow.
