LB’s “I’m No Angel” Campaign + New Jeans

After 7 years, I have bought a pair of jeans.

Throwing on a pair of jeans has always been my go to look but after gaining weight after high school, they were not so comfortable. Until the other day, I literally owned ONE pair of jeans that are way too tight and very unflattering. I thought my life of wearing jeans was over.

I stopped into Lane Bryant to look for a bathing suit top and saw the jeans section staring me down. I walked over super intimated because I just knew that there was no way I would find a pair that would fit me just right. Girl, was I wrong!

As soon as I slipped on these jeans my whole attitude changed. How did I go 7 years without jeans!?

The cool thing about LB Jeans is that they have special technology that hug you in all of the right places. I have never felt more comfortable or confident in a pair of jeans in my entire life!

Another great thing about LB is their “I’m No Angel” campaign. The campaign promotes self love and body positivity and is redefining what society sees as “sexy”. The same message I hope to get across with Her, She, and Me. If you haven’t seen the ad for this campaign, check it out below:

Music Monday | Ibeyi | Drake/PND

Just as I expected, Ibeyi’s debut self-titled album is amazing. No, it’s not the album you would put on before you hit the club with your friends. It’s that album you put on when you need to have a clear mind and meditate.

There are lots of drums and the singing is beautiful. To be honest, I have no idea what they’re saying – but their voices are enchanting.

If you’re looking for an album to do some yoga to, this is definitely it.

Doing a complete 180 here…

Drake dropped his “If You’re Reading This Its Too Late” mixtape…album or whatever you wish to call it.

Sidebar: he broke a record with this album that only The Beatles have made. Damn!

The mixtape was great but the song that intrigued me the most was the Wednesday Interlude ft. PARTNEXTDOOR.

I’m not sure why this track stands out to me. Maybe it is the sound of sorrow in his voice? It almost sounds like he’s pleading with someone. Not to mention the beat is inticing. This song makes me feel his pain. Ya know?

You know I’m a sucker for an inticing beat over a pleading beautiful voice.

Anyway…

You can purchase Ibeyi’s debut album on iTunes as well as Drakes mixtape (you can also find Drakes mixtape free online but I didn’t know that before I spent $14.99 on it on iTunes but I mean I guess it’s okay because it turned out to be a really great album…I mean mixtape).

As always…Check it out and let me know what you think!
