The first time I heard any music from Armond was at a coffee house at school a few years ago. Since then I have been a fan of his music. Armond is not your typical rap artist. His music will speak to you on a different level about life, love, and Christ.
The first song I fell in love with by Armond was a song titled “Love Is”. The opening line: “somebody tell me what love is..” captured me during a very intense time of my life and led me to continue to follow Armond and his music.
This Is Kairos
Kairos is a moment in time that presents an opportunity for change. We are presented with Kairos moments every day but what we decide to do with that time is our choice. This is more than an album for Armond, it is a lifestyle that he wants us all to recognize and live by. He gets very personal on this album and speaks about Kairos moments that he has had and what he did during those moments in his life.
I thankfully was able to listen to a private-screening of this album before its tomorrow release and let me tell you…it is everything I thought it would be and more. Armond is a very dynamic artist and unlike anything I have ever heard before. If you have a love for poetry, rap, and the Gospel you will definitely appreciate this album.
